About Us
At vinci4d, we are revolutionizing hardware design through our innovative Physics AI platform. Our cutting-edge software empowers hardware designers and physics simulation engineers to explore, analyze, and optimize complex hardware systems with unprecedented speed and accuracy. By integrating traditional simulation with advanced machine learning techniques, we are transforming the way the world's most advanced semiconductors are designed, verified, manufactured, and integrated into intricate systems.
Role Overview
As a key member of the Forward Deployment team in Europe, you will lead the charge in promoting the adoption of vinci4d’s platform among top engineering firms. This leadership role will involve building, mentoring, and managing a dynamic team of thermal and thermo-mechanical engineers dedicated to engaging with potential customers and showcasing the transformative capabilities of our software.
Your team will leverage extensive expertise in thermal and thermo-mechanical simulation, applying real-world experience to validate customer designs using our platform. You will illustrate how vinci4d can significantly enhance product design, thermal and mechanical performance, reliability, and time-to-market.
With a solid foundation in thermal physics and continuum mechanics, you will guide the analysis of complex physical phenomena, including steady-state and transient thermal behavior, linear and nonlinear mechanics, geometric and material nonlinearities, and contact interactions. Your team's assessments will focus on critical factors such as thermal risk, warpage, stress evolution, and reliability in advanced semiconductor devices, electronics packages, and wafer-scale systems.
You will collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to comprehend their technical challenges, provide expert guidance, and articulate vinci4d’s capabilities in addressing real-world issues. Moreover, you will serve as a vital feedback conduit to product and engineering teams, translating customer insights into actionable inputs that will inform product development and foster continuous improvement.
This remote role requires close collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams in Palo Alto, CA, USA, and may involve moderate travel primarily within continental Europe. Occasional international travel may be necessary for discussions and collaborations with the US team. You may need to be onsite in Munich a few days per week to work alongside a world-leading research institute on joint programs.
