Role Overview

We are in search of a Project Controller who will play a pivotal role in supporting multi-disciplinary teams with planning, monitoring, and controlling projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget. This role involves providing critical oversight of project staff, contractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with operational, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review and authorize engineering designs to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to promote efficient project execution.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring quality of work and materials utilized meet established standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and project documentation for management review.
  • Manage and allocate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment effectively.
  • Conduct continuous risk assessments and formulate strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Evaluate completed projects and capture lessons learned to enhance future initiatives.

This position requires on-site work in a mining environment, with daily commuting to and from the site.
