Your Contributions:

  • Design and simulate experiments to evaluate and enhance quantum error correction protocols.
  • Customize quantum error correction strategies to optimize the capabilities of our hardware.
  • Conduct experiments to analyze the noise characteristics of physical qubits.
  • Estimate resources for large-scale implementations of quantum error correction.
  • Provide expert advice on hardware selection and software controls to maximize quantum error correction performance both in the short and long term.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing, simulating, and optimizing quantum error correction protocols.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking techniques.
  • Expertise in error mitigation and compilation methods.
  • Strong simulation and modeling skills to guide experimental design.

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience (including education) in quantum error correction research and development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by published research.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and experience in collaborating with clients and partners.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Understanding of quantum algorithms and their applications.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Qiskit and Stim.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
