Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead outbound prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting within the staffing and recruitment sector. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with demonstrated experience as a staffing SDR or BDR, coupled with strong cold calling skills and the ability to engage confidently with decision-makers and gatekeepers.
The SDR will be tasked with executing high-volume outreach, managing CRM activities, and arranging qualified meetings for the sales team while consistently achieving performance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 80–100 outbound calls daily to prospective clients.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
- Identify and qualify decision-makers within targeted companies.
- Schedule 5–7 qualified appointments per week for the sales team.
- Manage all prospect interactions within HubSpot CRM.
- Execute email sequences and follow-up campaigns.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo) to discover new leads.
- Track outreach activities and maintain comprehensive CRM notes.
- Navigate conversations with gatekeepers and adeptly handle objections.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance and optimize outbound sales processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of SDR or BDR experience in the staffing industry (US market).
- Experience in direct placement staffing sales (not third-party recruiting).
- Proven history of meeting or surpassing KPI targets.
- Exceptional cold calling and appointment-setting skills.
- Proficient in using HubSpot CRM.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience with Apollo or a similar prospecting platform.
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Able to confidently manage objections and engage with gatekeepers.
