Preferred Qualifications: A graduate or postgraduate degree from a prestigious university. Relevant experience in research, information services, pre-sales, or marketing and sales operations roles. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, in a business context utilizing various communication channels (phone, email, in-person). Proven expertise in secondary research methodologies and strategies. Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A successful history of working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines. A strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving. Capability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with resources such as LinkedIn, Hoovers, D&B, SFDC, etc., is an advantage. Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) is hiring a Sales Enablement Associate for its Gurugram office. This position supports the GLG Sales Team by providing research and operational assistance at every stage of the sales process. The role involves close collaboration with the Business Development team and frequent interaction with colleagues across GLG’s global network.

The Sales Enablement Associate reports to the Vice President in Gurugram. Regular mentorship is part of the role, along with chances to take the lead on project delivery. Expect to work with sales professionals based in different regions, building connections across the organization.

Main responsibilities

  • Research industry and sub-sector trends, structures, and major players to provide actionable insights for the sales team.
  • Investigate specific companies to understand their strategies, organizational charts, key executives, and research needs.
  • Create tailored presentations and proposals that communicate GLG’s value and solutions clearly to clients.
  • Support sales operations by updating the CRM with new accounts and users, preparing client consumption reports, and assisting with invoice and accounts receivable processes.
