Join our dynamic team as a Senior Automation Engineer, where you will be instrumental in supporting our existing automated equipment and driving the design and implementation of innovative assembly automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key liaison for the Manufacturing organization, providing expert support for automated assembly equipment.
- Take ownership of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric in designated areas, focusing on continuous improvement and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Global Strategic Development teams to craft and deploy new assembly solutions aligned with global business initiatives.
- Benchmark against industry standards and emerging technologies; identify best practices and areas for enhancement, devising appropriate response strategies.
- Enhance safety and ergonomic conditions associated with automated assembly equipment.
- Create and deliver training on Standard Operating Procedures and Progressive Maintenance Partnership documentation pertaining to site automation and equipment.
- Propose and implement visual factory displays that align with Manufacturing and overall plant objectives.
- Lead or engage in Continuous Improvement Events at manufacturing facilities to drive equipment and process enhancements.
- Contribute to Product Design reviews, PFMEA, and Design for Assembly processes.
- Formulate and implement procedures and documentation to facilitate the release of machinery and equipment, providing training to affected personnel.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, engaging cross-functional teams as necessary.
- Support the Maintenance team with training, equipment maintenance planning, and troubleshooting support.
