About the job
Weedmaps is hiring a Senior Salesforce Systems Engineer in Austin, TX (hybrid: 2 days per week onsite). This role shapes the technical direction of the company’s CRM ecosystem, connecting data architecture, enterprise integrations, and business strategy.
This is a hands-on engineering position, not just administration. The engineer will lead complex technical projects involving FinancialForce (Certinia) and other cloud ERPs, ensuring data flows smoothly through financial middleware and core business systems. Responsibilities include managing Salesforce-to-Salesforce migrations, building DevOps pipelines for reliable deployments, and translating executive requirements into technical plans. Regular communication with stakeholders at all levels is part of the job.
Candidates who enjoy writing Apex triggers and can clearly explain a financial data migration timeline to a CFO will find this role a strong match.
What You Will Do
- Architecture & Integration: Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and the enterprise stack, focusing on FinancialForce (Certinia), secondary cloud ERPs, and financial middleware to support a unified Lead-to-Cash workflow.
- Migration Leadership: Oversee Salesforce-to-Salesforce migrations and ERP data transitions. Ensure data integrity, handle complex metadata mapping, and minimize disruption to financial reporting cycles.
- DevOps Excellence: Build, manage, and refine CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps for automated, efficient deployments.
- Strategic Project Management: Serve as a technical project leader. Gather requirements from management and manage delivery timelines for assigned workstreams.
- Middleware Management: Improve data flow using middleware tools (such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar) to link Salesforce with external data warehouses and cloud platforms.
- Security, Compliance & Data Governance: Support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and change management controls for financially significant CRM processes.
