Key Responsibilities:Develop and evaluate composite solid-state cathode materials and formulations aimed at enhancing cell performance and safety. Optimize and engineer composite solid-state cathodes through a robust understanding of their interactions with solid electrolytes. Detect and analyze failure modes associated with solid-state cathodes. Assemble solid-state cells and conduct electrochemical assessments to evaluate the influence of cathode active materials and electrode compositions on overall cell performance. Employ various analytical techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, TGA) and electrochemical methods (e.g., EIS, CV) to characterize cell materials. Document and interpret results from electrochemical tests and analytical characterizations to gauge the impact of cathode material properties on cell performance. Effectively communicate complex findings to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Lead projects by formulating clear, actionable strategies with defined milestones, managing timelines efficiently, and ensuring high-quality execution. Continuously monitor and interpret advancements in the field of battery technology.
