Role Overview

As a member of the Commerce Strategy & Operations team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding business decisions related to post-purchase operations, including user experience, Trust & Risk, and fraud management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the strategic vision for post-purchase operations, closely collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to create scalable, high-quality user experiences.

  • Converting insights from operational data and user interactions into actionable priorities, roadmaps, and initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, speed, and scalability.

  • Leading intricate, cross-functional projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable success.

  • Designing and instituting scalable processes, systems, and operational models that adapt to Whatnot’s growth and the evolving needs of our users.

  • Acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

  • Regularly evaluating operational performance and identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, resilience, and user satisfaction.
