As the pivotal leader in our organization, the Team Lead Data Engineering (m/f/x) is responsible for architecting and managing our vital data services and platforms (including Data Lake and DWH). Your role ensures that our business has reliable data to inform every strategic decision. You will guide, coach, and mentor a team of Data Engineers, fostering the development of high-quality, scalable solutions that align with our corporate goals. Close collaboration with stakeholders across Product, Operations, and Compliance is essential to ensure that our data strategy effectively and securely supports our competitive edge.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor our Data Engineering team, cultivating a vibrant, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the complete data supply chain, from the design to the operation of critical data pipelines (both batch and real-time), ensuring optimal scalability, performance, and compliance with SLAs.
- Serve as the ultimate quality assurance gatekeeper, ensuring end-to-end data quality, accuracy, and consistency across our Data Platform to facilitate reliable reporting and precise analytics while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications and delivery plans, strategically partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
- Align all data engineering practices with corporate standards, driving security, compliance, and operational excellence throughout all processes.
- Champion automation, optimization, and innovation within data processing to enhance performance and maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute actively to the Data Department's roadmap and objectives, providing leadership support for strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
