Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in project management preferred;• Proficient in English (B1 or higher), with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills;• Solid experience in substations and transmission lines, with proven involvement in grid infrastructure projects in Brazil. A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in both design and construction of grid connections;• In-depth knowledge of transmission system access and ONS network procedures;• Willingness and ability to conduct field visits.

About the job

We are on the lookout for a skilled Engineer to serve as a technical reference in the integration of renewable energy projects, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient connection to the National Interconnected System (SIN). This pivotal role encompasses leadership in substation topics, transmission lines, and energy collector networks, providing support from development through commissioning phases. The successful candidate will also engage with the National System Operator (ONS) and transmission companies, aiding in licensing processes to ensure a technically robust and executable portfolio.

In your daily activities, you will:

· Lead the engineering efforts for renewable energy projects, assessing technical feasibility, constructability, risks, and CAPEX for connection infrastructure (transmission lines, substations, and collection networks) from the project's initial phases.

· Develop technical specifications for high, medium, and low voltage equipment, protection systems, control and measurement systems, as well as transmission lines.

· Act as the technical lead for grid scope in procurement processes, including defining specifications for equipment and systems, evaluating proposals, and supporting contractual negotiations.

· Supervise the execution of grid scopes in engineering and construction contracts, ensuring technical quality and compliance with specifications while integrating distinct contract scopes.

· Plan and conduct project reviews, technical analyses, and support due diligence processes, ensuring adherence to technical, regulatory, and scheduling requirements.

· Oversee factory inspections, acceptance testing, and coordinate external engineering and technical consulting.
