Join our dynamic Technical Supplies Team as a Technical Procurement Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in sourcing and acquiring essential machinery, tools, parts, and services for our vessels and factories. You will engage in intricate technical duties, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations while meeting departmental needs. Your role will involve researching, evaluating, and purchasing equipment based on key factors such as cost, quality, and warranty. You will also manage the bidding process, prepare bid forms, analyze results, and make informed recommendations to support our procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct the procurement process aligning with Asso Group’s policies and ethical standards;
  • Verify accuracy of requisitions and issue RFQs to appropriate vendors promptly;
  • Facilitate vendor clarification processes efficiently;
  • Ensure timely receipt of vendor proposals;
  • Maintain confidentiality of commercial information;
  • Generate comprehensive Commercial and Technical Bid Evaluations and engage in negotiations;
  • Create and distribute Purchase Orders with requisite documentation;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with vendors to stay updated on capabilities and product innovations;
  • Develop and sustain a robust vendor network, while continuously scouting for new suppliers and managing the Approved Vendor List;

Additional Responsibilities

  • Resolve commercial queries with vendors;
  • Provide guidance to potential vendors interested in supply agreements;
  • Share insights on market trends and new products with Asso.subsea Teams;
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department for bid pricing administration;
  • Oversee the closure of Purchase Orders in ERP systems;
