JOB SUMMARY

The Veterinary Clinical Staff Manager (CSM) plays a crucial role in leading the support team within our VEG hospital. The CSM is responsible for ensuring that the staff has the necessary resources, tools, and autonomy to provide outstanding patient care while embodying the core values of VEG. The CSM will work closely with local and regional leadership to foster interdepartmental relationships and implement initiatives that align with the hospital's objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Empowerment and Development of Staff:

Recruitment

  • Oversee the interview, hiring, and training processes for a diverse team of VEG Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants, collaborating with leadership including the Medical Director and Regional Support Staff Director.
  • Guide the onboarding experience for new support staff members in coordination with the Onboarding and Hospital Manager.

Leadership and Engagement

  • Actively oversee the support staff team, demonstrating a present and engaged leadership style throughout the hospital.
