THE PROGRAM
Our Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program is designed to nurture the next generation of veterinary technicians. You will receive hands-on, immersive training in emergency medicine, working closely with our credentialed emergency veterinary technicians.
This isn't just an observation role, you'll actively participate in the action. Engage with real cases, ask questions, practice new techniques, and delve into the various aspects of emergency medicine. From patient triage to diagnostics and inpatient care, you will gain valuable insights into the field and determine if it's the right path for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Receive real-time mentoring by pairing with a credentialed emergency veterinary technician.
- Shadow and assist in triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, inpatient care, and other critical tasks.
