Overview
We are on the lookout for a talented Windows System Engineer proficient in Citrix administration to enhance our secure and mission-critical IT operations in a classified environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Windows server management, virtualization, system optimization, and security compliance, demonstrating a solid track record in managing and supporting enterprise-level Citrix environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, or later) in alignment with security and operational standards.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, and Citrix Director.
- Implement and maintain Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP configurations.
- Apply DISA STIGs, security patches, and system hardening procedures to ensure compliance with DoD and organizational standards.
- Support virtualized environments (VMware or Hyper-V) and assist with storage and network integrations.
- Conduct system monitoring, backup, and recovery operations to guarantee high availability and resilience.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance with RMF and security baseline requirements.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated system and user issues related to Windows or Citrix systems.
- Document configurations, changes, and procedures per organizational policies.
Required Qualifications

- Familiarity with SolarWinds, SCCM, WSUS, or similar management tools.
