As the first tail-sitter aircraft to secure a mass-production contract, with an order for 50 units, Omen is a cornerstone investment that boosts production and accelerates future system development.In this role, you will play a key part in the development of new aircraft in a dynamic, high-ownership environment, where your contributions will directly influence the product, enabling rapid design iterations and flight testing within months, not years.WHAT YOU’LL DOConduct static and dynamic structural analyses of composite and metallic materials employing first principles and suitable analytical techniques (including hand calculations, spreadsheets, scripts, and detailed finite element analysis).Lead the creation and organization of finite element models at both the global and subsystem levels.Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure optimal designs are achieved based on analytical findings.Document analysis methodologies and results in comprehensive technical reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.Assist in validation testing, covering instrumentation requirements, load specifications, data collection, and model correlation.Engage in flight testing, determining Do Not Exceed values, monitoring loads, and addressing inspection findings.Guarantee that all designs fulfill customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.Keep abreast of advancements in analysis techniques, materials technology, and industry standards.
