This Senior Corporate and Policy Communications Manager position centers on leading Airbnb’s communications strategy in France. The role involves shaping Airbnb’s reputation through both planning and hands-on work. Based in Paris, the manager works closely with policy, business, marketing, and regional communications teams to support the company’s objectives in the French market.
What you will do
- Develop and carry out communication strategies tailored for France, ensuring alignment with Airbnb’s global vision.
- Oversee a busy press office, respond to media inquiries, and foster strong relationships with journalists.
- Organize high-profile events that showcase Airbnb’s community and mission.
- Collect and share stories from hosts to demonstrate the benefits of home sharing and travel with Airbnb.
- Advise senior leaders on communications and policy matters.
- Work with local and regional teams to advance business and policy goals.
Requirements
- Background in corporate communications, ideally with experience at a global brand.
- Strong understanding of the French media landscape and established journalist relationships.
- Proactive, collaborative style with the ability to handle complex communication challenges.
- Comfort advising senior stakeholders and working across multiple teams.
- Creative mindset for designing and executing new communications initiatives.
- Fluency in both French and English.
