Winthrop Technologies Ltd. delivers turnkey data centre solutions across Europe, with headquarters in Dublin and a reputation for reliability in the industry. As the company grows, the team is seeking an MEP Engineer for a project based in Clonakilty, County Cork.
Role Overview
The MEP Engineer will coordinate mechanical and electrical packages for both on-site and off-site fabrication, supporting the delivery of a major data centre project in West Cork.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate MEP (mechanical and electrical) packages for fabrication and installation activities.
- Manage subcontractors to keep the project on schedule and meet key milestones.
- Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models to ensure compliance and constructability.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to resolve RFIs and technical questions.
- Monitor installation progress, flag risks, and communicate any delays that could affect timelines.
- Maintain standards for quality assurance, quality control, and inspection processes.
- Coordinate with CSA, commissioning, and client teams to ensure smooth integration of services.
- Support pre-commissioning, testing, snagging, and system handover activities.
- Organize material deliveries and logistics in line with the construction schedule.

- Experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally in data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical settings.
