BMarko Structures is actively seeking skilled Builders to support our Finishing & Assembly Departments! This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity on the first shift, with competitive pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour based on experience. Roles will initially be employed through Kudzu Staffing for the first 480 hours.
As a premier modular construction company, BMarko Structures specializes in manufacturing volumetric steel modules and shipping containers as permanent structures for various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial. Our innovative approach allows us to complete up to 90% of our buildings in a controlled factory environment, improving efficiency and safety for our workers.
Position Overview:
The Builder at BMarko Structures plays a vital role in assembling, installing, and finishing modular building components. Candidates with carpentry experience are preferred. This role demands hands-on construction skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install structural components for modular and prefabricated buildings.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cutting, and fitting sheet metal and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Ensure all work adheres to company quality standards and project specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and painting teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide support with general labor tasks as required.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a non-climate controlled fabrication shop and at job sites, with potential overtime and occasional travel to project locations.
