Qualifications:Robust experience in debugging storage devices, particularly SSD technologies. Proficient in analyzing logs, traces, and system-level interactions. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a dynamic environment. Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of Python programming experience for automation and analysis tasks. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in SSD validation and debugging across firmware, hardware, and system layers. Familiarity with industry-standard debugging tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive debugging and root cause analysis of SSD product issues at firmware, hardware, and system levels.
  • Engage collaboratively with design, firmware, software, and hardware teams to pinpoint, isolate, and rectify defects.
  • Work directly with the SSD Controller vendor on-site, coordinating debugging efforts between both organizations.
  • Employ advanced debugging tools and techniques (e.g., logs, analyzers, profilers) to diagnose failures and identify performance anomalies.
  • Facilitate issue resolution through thorough investigation and precise documentation of findings.
  • Provide constructive feedback to development teams to enhance product durability and mitigate future issues.
  • Stay informed about SSD architecture, protocols, and industry trends to refine debugging strategies.
  • Assist in validation and bring-up activities by analyzing failures rather than developing test frameworks.
  • Act as a technical resource for complex problem-solving and mentor team members on debugging best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the team based in the United States.
